Norco highlight
"Horsetown USA" – strong equestrian identity
Norco holds a federal trademark as "Horsetown USA," registered in 2006, and has built its identity around horse trails, hitching posts, and corrals throughout the community.

Norco was incorporated on December 28, 1964, and has evolved into a working horse community where few sidewalks exist—instead, horse trails run through residential areas to connect homes, businesses, and feed stores. The community has deliberately designed its infrastructure around equestrian life, with hitching posts near shops, corrals at homes, and a network of riding trails managed for access to schools, parks, and local services.
The city's architecture ordinances mandate a "Western theme" that is described as "rural, informal, traditional, rustic, low-profile and equestrian oriented." This requirement shapes how homes and buildings blend into the landscape rather than dominating it. The Norco Horsemen's Association and Norco Junior Horsemen's Association serve as community anchors, fostering equestrian culture through events, trail maintenance, and education.
For families centered on horses—whether boarding, training, or riding for recreation—Norco has been built around the animals that define their days. That commitment to a way of life is rooted in property rights and community protection. A term life insurance policy, sized to cover the property and the income that supports it, helps ensure that the next generation can maintain the same choices.
